Tour Plan
Day1: Marrakech – Imlil – Atlas village.
Today you will be transported from Marrakech at 9h00 towards Imlil valley. Here you will stay at a local guest house. Afternoon hike to explore the villages and acclimatize for the Trek. Night in the Guest house and get a typical Diner meal. 2 hours Hike.
Day2: Trek from Imlil to Azib Tamsoulte 2300m.
Today the Trek will start at 9h00 and head up to Tizi Mzik pass 2480m. Here you will be served a nice picnic lunch and get some rest enjoying the views through the Atlas Mountains. After the break, you will continue to Azib Tamsoulte refuge. Lovely landscape on the Azzaden valley. You will stay in dormitory refuge and will be served diner and breakfast.
Day3: Azib Tamsoulte – Aguelzim peak 3550m – Toubkal refuge ( Base Camp).
You will get an early breakfast and start at 7h00. You will first enjoy a nice time under Ighouliden waterfalls. Afterwards the trail is zigzagging all the way up to Aguelzim Peak 3550m. Here you will get a picnic lunch before heading down to Toubkal base camp. The estimate timing is 6 hours up and 1h30 descent. You will stay in the Camp or in the refuge.
Day4: Climb Mount Toubkal – Imlil – Marrakech
Today is a challenging day to achive the Toubkal Peak. The route starts at 5am zigzagging all the way up to the summit. It’s steep but a nice guided rhythm will be set from the beginning. the ascent to the summit and back to the refuge takes around 5-6 hours total, but the entire descent from the refuge to Imlil. after lunch adds another 4-5 hours of walking. Your transport back to Marrakech will be waiting for you at Imlil Center.
