Tour Plan
Day1: Drive from Marrakech to Aguersioual Village 1680m – Trek to Tachdirt valley 2300m.
Our transport will take you from your hotel in Marrakech at 8h00 and drive towards the Atlas Mountains. The mule team will be waiting for you at the village of Aguersiwal. After checking the equipment and drink some tea, your trek will begin. The trail will take you through a zigzagging path up to Tizi Aguersiwal pass 2100m. Here you will fortunate a wonderful view through the Atlas Mountains. Gentle descent to Ikiss valley where you will get your picnic lunch. Ion the afternoon. Camp near Tachdirte village. Approx. 6 hours walk.
Day2: Trek from Tachdirte valley to Azib Likemt by Likemt pass 3580m.
After an early breakfast, you will set off for a zigzagging path up to Tizi Likemt pass. The trail is steep but zigzags upwards. Frequent stops and nice pace will be taken from time to time. Arriving to the pass, your Guide will please you with some snacks and dates and some energetic bars. The hike down to Likemnt valley is easy and dusty. You will arrive to the camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will relax by the river. Approx. 6 hours walk.
Day3: Trek from Azib Likemt to Amsouzarte village 1800m ( Tifnoute valley).
After breakfast, we trek through Aouray river for a couple of hours. The Tizi Aouray pass will offer a wonderful view through Mount Toubkal and the Atlas Mountains. After having a break on the pass, you will head down to Tifnoute valley and stay in a local hosue in Amsouzarte village. After lunch you will have free time to explore the valley and have mint tea experience with local family.
Day4: Trek from Amsouzarte to Ifni Lake 2300m – Ifri Irouzane
You will have breakfast at 8h00 and start at 9h00. The trek will cross berber village of Tifnoute valley. You will have a short break for mint tea at a local village. Afterwards zigzagging up to Ifni Lake. You will have picnic lunch near the lake and have short rest before adding another 1h30 to arrive to the camp.
Day5: Climb Mount Toubkal from East trail & end at the base camp.
Early morning departure for Toubkal Summit climbing via East Couloir. The trails is mixte of mule track and scramble experiences via the east couloir. You will catch up the sunrise on the way to the summit. After enjoying the time and taking picture on Toubkal summit, you will retrace dozn to the base camp. You lunch will be served on arrival and have a relaxing afternoon. Approx. 8 hours walk.
Day6: Trek to Imlil and Drive to Marrakech
The final day of Mount Toubkal Trek will take you down to Imlil village. You will have your final lunch with the local time and get your transport back to Marrakech.
