Tour Plan
Day1: Marrakech – Imlil – Atlas village.
Today you will be transported from Marrakech at 9h00 towards Imlil valley. Here you will stay at a local guest house. Afternoon hike to explore the villages and acclimatize for the Trek. Night in the Guest house and get a typical Diner meal. 2 hours Hike.
Day 2: Marrakech – Imlil – Trekking Tizi Mzik – Azzaden Valley
Depart from Marrakech at 8:30 AM for the village of Imlil in the Atlas Mountains. The day features a 5-hour trek, crossing the Tizi Mzik pass with lunch served along the trail. Arrive at Tizi Oussem in the afternoon to stay at a traditional local guesthouse. Dinner and breakfast are included. A support mule will be available in case children get tired, and extra snacks will be provided throughout the day.
Day 3: Trekking from Tizi Oussem to Imlil.
After breakfast, depart Tizi Oussem for a scenic trek to Aguersioual. The trail guides you through the charming Ait Aissa village, over the Tizi Oudid pass, and through the beautiful Matat Valley. This moderate, 5-hour hike follows a clear mule track. For families, a mule will be on hand throughout the trek to assist if any children need a rest. After lunch continue to Imlil. Stay in local Guest house.
Day4: Imlil – Kasbah Ait Benhadou – Ouarzazate – Rose valley – Dades valley
The journey will begin at 8am driving along the High Atlas Tichka pass to Ait Benhadou Kasbah. Known as a historical site, the kasbah remains a true reflexion of ancient architecture of the South East of Morocco. Here where many international movies took place. You will make short walk to explore the kasbah, lunch and head o Dades valley. On the way you will make frequent stops in very interesting places including Ouarzazate town and Rose valley town. Arrive to Dades valley by the end of the Day and stay at a local house.
Day5: Dades valley – Todra gorge – Merzouga sand dunes.
Today you will leave Dades valley around 9h00 and drive to Todra gorge; the biggest gorge cliff in Morocco. You will stop for lunch on the way at the village of Touroug. You will arrive to Merzouga dunes before the sunset and ride camels/ Hike (optional) over the dunes. You may catch up the sunset before arriving to the camp. Diner and music in the camp.
Day6: Dades valley – Todra gorge – Merzouga sand dunes.
Wake up for the sunrise and have some breakfast. Ride camel/ or hike back to the starting point. Get in to the bus back home.
Your final day of the trip will be long but rewarding. You will pass by Draa valley and Agdz palm date oasis. You will have lunch in Ouarzazate kasbah les jardins and head back to Marrakech
Day7: Merzouga dunes- Draa valley- Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Wake up for the sunrise and have some breakfast. Ride camel/ or hike back to the starting point. Get in to the bus back home.
Your final day of the trip will be long but rewarding. You will pass by Draa valley and Agdz palm date oasis. You will have lunch in Ouarzazate kasbah les jardins and head back to Marrakech
