Tour Plan
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Trekking Tizi Mzik – Azzaden Valley
Depart from Marrakech at 8:30 AM for the village of Imlil in the Atlas Mountains. The day features a 5-hour trek, crossing the Tizi Mzik pass with lunch served along the trail. Arrive at Tizi Oussem in the afternoon to stay at a traditional local guesthouse. Dinner and breakfast are included. A support mule will be available in case children get tired, and extra snacks will be provided throughout the day.
Day 2: Trekking from Tizi Oussem to Matat valley.
After breakfast, depart Tizi Oussem for a scenic trek to Aguersioual. The trail guides you through the charming Ait Aissa village, over the Tizi Oudid pass, and through the beautiful Matat Valley. This moderate, 5-hour hike follows a clear mule track. For families, a mule will be on hand throughout the trek to assist if any children need a rest. After lunch in Matat explore the village and stay.
Day 3: Matat – Tizi Aguersiwal – Tachdirte Valley
Today, you will trek from Matat Valley to Tachdirte Valley. Following a gentle descent from Matat to Aguersiwal, you will begin an ascent to the Tizi Aguersiwal pass. From here, enjoy stunning views across the Atlas Mountains and Tachdirte Valley before heading down to Ikiss for lunch. Afterward, you will trek to the village of Tamguiste to stay in a traditional local house.
Approximate trekking time: 5 hours.
Day 4: Tachdirte Valley – Imlil Village
Today’s walk is easier, with very little climbing. During this 4-hour trek, you will experience scenic views and memorable landscapes featuring the Oukaimeden and Likemt peaks. Upon reaching the Tizi n’Tamaterte pass, you will head down to Imlil for a final lunch before returning to Marrakech.
Day 3: Matat – Tizi Aguersiwal – Tachdirte Valley
Today you will trek from Matat Valley to Tachdirte Valley. After a gentle descent from Matat to Aguersiwal, you will ascend to the Tizi Aguersiwal pass. Here, you will have a beautiful view of the Atlas Mountains and Tachdirte Valley before heading down to Ikiss for lunch. Afterward, you will trek to the village of Tamguiste and stay in a local house.
Approx. timing: 5h.
Day 4: Tachdirte Valley – Imlil Village
Today’s walk is easier with very little climbing. In a 4-hour walk, you will explore scenic views and memorable landscapes, including Oukaimeden Peak and Likemt Peak. After arriving at the Tizi n’Tamaterte pass, head down to Imlil for the final lunch, then head back to Marrakech.
